New Student Enrollment


Welcome new students and parents/guardians to McMinn County High School! You may print the new student enrollment packet or stop by the front office to pick up a hard copy. Summer hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Please visit the school website or our Facebook page towards the middle of July for the New Student Registration date. We have information about course selections, graduation requirements, and course descriptions on this page and on the Registration page.

Welcome to McMinn County High School! Please review and complete the new student enrollment packet. The packet includes a form with a list of documents that are needed to enroll your child. You can print or pick up the packet from the high school. 


  • For birth certificate documentation, you may also use the following, if you do not have the student’s birth certificate:
    • ​religious, hospital, or physician’s certificate showing date of birth; entry in a family bible; an adoption record, an affidavit from parent; or previously verified school records. 
    • Check with the school if you need additional assistance.

Course Registration/ 6 Year Plan:

  • This form lists all core courses such as our math, English, science, and social studies selections. 
  • After reviewing the list of electives and other courses, please discuss with your child the courses he/she may want to take. We ask that the student choose up to 3 electives. Your child’s counselor will assist with the course selection process.
